Saw this on instagram today. I don't have the back story or any info. This FJ is destroyed. Goes to show that at speed, a steel bumper will do nothing.

Sure do hate to see something like that. Agree with you, hope the driver and family is ok. One heck of an impact to mangle that bumper like that.

Actually, I would argue that the aftermarket steel bumper may make things WORST because the factory bumper is an integral part of the front end's crush zone to absorb impact energy.
