this chick lives by me lol shes my age.
here are the pics lower control arms are still out because i need to press out the old bolts that had to be cut out. pic 2 and 3 are what lower and position the proper angle for the diff. and pic 4and 5 are how the driver side of the diff is secured. everything bolted in place as if it was ment to be.
Who cares about the pics of the 4runner....
Whats the chick look like with the pink raptor truck?
just kidding...![]()
Alright, alright, alright....
Just to clarify, a bracket lift has MINIMAL effect on cv angles, as the entire front suspension is simply dropped the length of the bracket. It's like putting your truck on the rack, taking all the suspension off and relocating it lower on the frame (accomplished by lower brackets), and therefore gaining lift. From my experience, these lifts will wear out bearings and ball joints faster, just because of the huge tires you run with them, but that's about it. The only angle you begin to compromise is that of the front drive shaft.
Because of all this you can still install spindles, coilovers, spacers, etc. to gain lift ontop of the bracket lift. There are tons of full size trucks in Columbus running lifts like this. I've seen two or three with a 7" bracket, 3" coilovers, and a body lift for about 12" of lift.
In theory, on a 2x4 T4R you could do a 6" bracket, 3.5" spindles, 3" coilovers, and a 1.5" body lift to shoot for over a foot of lift
Shes exactly what you would expect with the name "Raptor Barbie"![]()
