I was trying to find some of my old posts about this but could not.
I picked up a set of front set up along with the rear coils and shocks.
So The swap out went pretty straight forward since I didnt have to mess around with compressing any springs in the front just a straight swap. The back was cake if not for the frozen on upper shock bolts.
I remember way back when.....the reason I was looking for my old posts.....that this set up should give you an inch of lift. Well its more like 2 inches in my case. Its only been on for a day now so I wonder if it will settle a little. The springs have like 15k miles on them when I got them. But my buddy and I are standing there looking at it going its more than an inch of lift.
Where there different systems in the FJ that might give the 4runner more lift?
I am also running the air bags out back for towning, There is no air in them now but I was not a fan of them while towing. They seemed to give to much bounce to the back seat area.
Any one have any input on the air bags?
