FJ Tokicos performance

Hey I wanted to get some feedback on anyone currently sitting on an FJ shock (Tokico's)/spring setup, to note the improvements over stock. I've been searching and reading thru other FJ articles, but not alot of people have specified the improvement and if it's worth the 80-100$ for this setup, or would i be happier spending 200-300 for Bilstein's. I'm not looking to lift a whole lot anytime soon, my only concern is overall improvement over stock suspension especially off-road. Thanks guys!

unless you have xreas, the 4runner already comes with tokico shocks & if the fj shocks you want are black also, they will most likely be so close , if not the same, as to not make that much of a difference (unless they have alot less miles on them) its the coils that will make the big difference. so you would see a improvement by just adding the fj coils to the shocks you have now, unless they have high mileage, & also get .5 - 1 in. front lift, but the HD bilsteins or 5100's with fj coils would be a much bigger improvement , firmer ride & less nose dive when cornering on road, & much better for offroading. if you notice, most that want/need better offroad performance also get rid of the tokico shocks thats probably one reason why you dont see much feed back on them. tokico does make a blue HD shock but unless u get those id go with the billies. goodluck

So it may be worth my money to just by the springs from the guy, and keep the stock shocks. Does anyone have any exact info on if the stock SR5 shocks vs black Tokico FJ shocks?
