FJ Wheels

So I found this TRD FJ wheels online. I was informed that due to the brakes on my 2006 sport I need a 17" wheel. The post says they are 17" but looking around I can only find these in 16". He's giving a killer deal and I want to pick them up if they're actually 17". Have you guys seen this style wheel in 17" before or do you think he's misinformed and it's a 16".

I had the intentions of adding the link but forgot. They're sold now anyway they were like new and going for 225 for the set!

For posterity: I'm pretty sure the factory FJ wheels are 17". IDK about the TRD versions you were talking about but I think I remember seeing a set of TRDs a couple of years ago that were 16's but I think they were 5-lug, not 6...

There's a thread on here that says which brake calipers fit the FJ wheels and which dont - I think all but LIMITED do, but I could be wrong.

My 06 Sport has the larger brakes. My understanding is that the smaller brakes were standard on the SR5 and Limited, where the larger were Standard on the Sport, and an option on the Limited.

I have the FJ TRD wheels on my truck. They are 16s. Click my link to see a pic. fyi, these barely fit my SR5, with inside sick on wheel weights which have the smaller brakes.

I think a 17" are require on the sports due to the calipers. Thank you for the input I will be looking around for new wheels. nice wheels and runner Az

13WH stamp on your calipers will tell you if you need 17" rims
