FJC springs in the back

Does anyone have any pics of FJC springs without front spacers? I'd like to keep the rake, so without the spacers would I end up with 3/4 lift front and rear?

On my V6 4wd I ran just the FJC front springs for a while and it was about 3/4" lift with a much better drive quality. Less body roll, dive when braking etc. Click on the links in my sig for more... Within those links are some photos. Those older photos aren't exactly what you want to see but very close. They differ in that I have Airlift1000 in the rear and at minimum pressure the back sits up a little (1/4"-1/2") when compared with stock. So another way to say it is my pics are just like a V6 T4R w/FJC springs and a little weight in it

With just FJC springs you will have rake. They seem to raise the T4R 1/2"+ to 3/4" in the front depending on V6 vs V8 and 3/4" in the rear.

These are new, taken today, photos.

W/.75"net lift spacers and FJC springs so it's 1.5" total

W/FJC rear springs and Airlift set to 5psi on pax side and 10psi drivers side. That keeps me level.

Any concerns over using the FJC springs with a V8 4Runner? Must be a decent front end weight difference?

Also, where did you get the 1" spacers?

I have the V8 and got 2.75" with a 1" spacer & FJC springs. If some one is able to tell me how much a 1" spacer normally gives, then you can get a better idea on the FJC gains with a V8.

Spacers typically lift at approx a 2 to 1 ratio on the front. 1" of material = 2" of lift. If you want the spacer to provide 1" of lift then it should be approx 1/2" thick.

The V8 is between 160lbs and 200lbs heavier than the V6 depending on where you read.

Lots of places. Cornfed will make any size you want. Revtek and Daystar are popular. Wheelers Offroad and Burtman Industries and others sell these items. Type '4Runner lift' in Google or Ebay to see more.

There's potentially massive confusion when you buy spacers (lately for some reason). IMHO you should be very clear and state what you want. "I want 3/4" spacers that will give approx 1.5" of lift" or "I want spacers that will yield a total lift of .75".

It seems 6mos ago this became an issue. Prior to that any advertised numbers were 'net lift' not material thickness. Again, it's about 2 to 1 so a .75" thick spacer will yield 1.5" of lift.

I am one of those guys who got confused with this. The 1" spacer that I got in the package deal is actually 1". That is why I got 2.75" with the spacer and the FJC spring. I was told it was a 1" spacer, when I recieved it, it was actually 1" thick making it a 2" spacer.
