Flasher module? Relay?

simple

Hey all. I have an 07 Sport with 99k. I bought it about 3mo ago and noticed my left blinker burnt out because of the rapid flash. Next day it worked again. Fast forward a few weeks, and the it's out for over a week. The hazards work normally though. When the left signal doesn't work, DRL is inop as well, but as stated, hazards will turn the bulb on at anytime. I searched a thread on here and somebody mentioned the flasher module. The right side has worked great entire time. I'm hitting the junk yard tomorrow and would like to see if I can grab the part I need, anybody have a clue what could be causing this?

Inspect the socket, it'll probably either look corroded or burnt looking.

Good idea. Although I'm under the impression that both the front and back don't work, although I haven't confirmed it. Also, I've confirmed that when this problem manifests, at least in the front the DRL light won't work, and the blinker doesn't, but if I were to hit the hazard, the bulbs, front and back, flash normally. That's why I'm thinking its not corrosion of the outlet. But I'll check tomorrow morning. I washed my car, and for the past few hours it's been operating normally.

DRL & Turn signal on the '03~'05 is next to the foglamp housing if I recall correctly, they are dual filament bulbs.

Well, whad'ya know. The front signal socket looked like it had burn marks on the outside and the bulb itself looked corroded. The bulb separated from its metal base and the inside of the bulb base has rust flakes. I had to pull it out with pliers. Inside of the socket itself had some heat signs but the metal contacts themself looked good. Going to pick up another bulb. Thanks!

I would see if you can get another socket also, they get corroded and start being finicky/intermittent if not outright burning bulbs quickly when they get like that.
