right turn signal issue: help please

Hi all, I am running into an issue and all previous steps to mitigate haven't worked. I have a 2014 4runner

Last week my right turn signal stopped working. If I go to turn right the dash will blink once and then stop. I hear the relay click once and intermittently see the front and rear turn signal flash once and then stop. If I hit the hazard button it also flashes once and then stops. My left turn signal is fine.

I have checked all fuses and replaced the flasher module as well as replacing the LED resistor in the right headlight. it is still not working. I have the alpharex aftermarket headlights and I ran a multimeter to see if there was signal. I get power to the light but it doesn't fluctuate when the turn signal is on like on the driver's side turn signal.

Has anyone else experienced this? i am at a loss and don't want to be raped by a mechanic trying to hunt down this electric gremlin.

TIA

Do your right-side front and rear parking lights operate normally? The only reason I ask is that one time we traced a totally weird similar situation down to a dual filament bulb where one filament had failed and laid down on the other one creating a short between the two different circuits. (Yes, a true one in a million shot.)

Another thing to try to eliminate a possible cause is to disconnect the front, then the rear parking / turn signal bulbs, then try the directional. If you have LED taillights, disconnect the turn / running portion. This will either zero in on a cause or rule several out.

The right rear light also does not flash but once when I indicate. This is why It doesn't seem to be a bulb issue as they both flash the one time before stopping.

Roger that. I'd still disconnect the front, then the rear turn signals to see what happens.
