Fleet Dealer?

Hello everyone, I'm new to the forums however have extremely enjoyed browsing all the posts here. My question...

Can anyone on the forums who has purchased through Toyota's fleet program through work or a credit union provided insight on the experience?

If anyone has had any fleet dealer experience with any manufacturers I'd also be interested in hearing about that.

I am VERY interested in getting a 4Runner, not sure if I'll do the conservative thing and go for a used 03 - 04 or take the big plunge and go new however my employeer has a fleet purchasing program with toyota that we can take advantage of and I'd like to hear any feedback anyone has on this.

I just purchased a 2005 V8 4Runner from Gerard Hoskins ([email protected]). He's the Fleet Manager at Carlsbad Toyota. The price was great, and I did the entire transaction via email (I wrote about this in some other thread). Very satisfied with them, something I can't say about many other car dealers. If you email him, tell him Kyle Kai said hi.

We bought ours through our company program (Boeing), which is basically the fleet thing. The dealer presented the price (which was VERY good), the proposed trade-in value (which was acceptable) and we agreed to the deal which took all of about 15 minutes.

This particular dealer didn't even try to sell extended warranty or paint and interior protection. They looked up our credit union rate and beat their interest rate easily.

The dealer is Toyota of Orange in the City of Orange.

Thanks for the input! I'll probably look use my company's fleet program and compare to the costco auto program when I am ready to purchase in may or june.
