So,
This is the set up in the rear, 906's with 4th Gen OEM length shock in the rear, and NO sway bar at all in a 99 Limited 4x4 with e-Locker.
So today I pull off in this ditch that I new would flex out my rear end pretty good. Well I was not expecting the loud pop sound that I hear as I was traversing this thing. Same thing happened when I came out of it.
Well I got home just down the road and looked at the truck. I though I might of got into the gas take because Kraze had this same issue with his set up. Well guess what, YEP!!!!! The only thing strange about this is that it is hitting right at the rear of the drive line and getting into the u-joint. That is where the rub make it. I looked at the gas take skid and sure enough on the rear of it on the right side it had an really good bend in the skid.
So, What do I do about this issue. I really do not want to F up my drive line at the U-Joint. Around hear in MO now you need a gas tank skid.
Should I just pound it back in for starters? Should I try and cut part of it out?
I will post pictures in the morning so you all can see this.
I know she flexes but really....
