Really hoping someone can clarify something for me.
So I picked up 2 Harbor Freight Low Profile Jacks today and they both operate differently. When I pump the handle, both take about the same amount of pumps to reach its maximum height but once the maximum height is achieved, both floor jacks "act" differently. IE, when the maximum height is reached on one jack, the handle locks as if it bottoms out and you can no longer pump the handle. On the other jack, once the maximum height is reached, you can keep pumping the handle even if the jack itself is no longer moving. Both holds weight so I'm not sure which one is performing right.
How does everyone else's jack perform once maximum height is reached? Which one of my jacks do I have to take back?
NOTE: I've bled the hydraulic system on both jacks the exact same way.
