fm radio frequncies in Europe

I just bought a 2003 4 Runner from the States and am driving in Russia. The FM radio frequencies here end in even numbers i.e. 106.2 FM, 107.4 FM and so on. Since the radio in my 4 Runner is for the U.S. market, can anyone tell me if it is possible to reprogram the radio to tune to even ending frequencies?

We had our VW passat (U.S. Spec) that we bought in the states and shipped it over and never had an issue, drove it all over Europe. The radio worked fine. Not sure if toyota does the same thing. There were guys over there with older 4runners and they never had any problems like that. Other than that I have no idea how to reprogram the radio for even numbers or if even that is an option. Good question though...

Thanks for your reply. It's not that the radio doesn't work. It does. The point is that a majority of stations here operate on frequencies that end in "even" numbers that my radio can't pick up, as it is made to receive stations with "odd" frequencies. Blah!!!

I remember back in the '80s I had an AKAI home stereo receiver and it had a switch on the back to change the way it tuned, I think they called it the "step" and would allow you to do just what you say. That was the only stereo I've ever had though where I've seen a switch like that.
