Hello, I am new here but wanted to let a few folks know since I have read a few posts about the TRD Pro Wheels and how people like the style but wish they were an 8" wide wheel and not 7". Anyway I came across FN Wheels in Orange California and they sell a wheel called the FX Pro. It looks exactly the same as the Toyota TRD Pro Wheel but in a 17x8" size. Dustin is the contact there and he is great. The wheels come in multiple colors. I have included a picture of them incase anyway is interested. I am know I am stoked on them. I was also talking to him about the Canadian Rear Cargo Mat for the 5th Gen 4Runner and how Canadian Dealers won't ship to the States. He called his contact and was able to order a bunch. Here's mine! Dark matte with machined TRD caps. Toytec BOSS lift with 295/70/17 Mastercraft Courser MXTs. It still has the 1.25" spacers. I just may keep them.
Did that wheel and tire combo cause any rubbing issues?
It did, but only because of the spacers. I beat the pinch weld back and did a quick BMC and no more rubbing!

I didn't buy a 5th, but just used the stock rim for my spare. If you are going to do a 5 tire rotation that would be the only reason I could see buying the 5th, but then you'd have to figure out if the cost savings is worth buying the 5th. I think it would fit fine, but I might be inclined to put some type of padding on the pulley to make sure the rim doesn't scratch.

I have a 5th used in the rotation and I haven't noticed any problems with scratching or gouging. Load the spare as you normally would with the outside facing up so the cup contacts the hub side of the wheel.

Shouldn't rub on stock tires. Anything larger and you will rub due to offset.

So if I purchase new tires to fit the 17 x 8 I shouldn't have issues?

I would assume, If spider trax wheel spacers don't rub with factory size tires then you won't rub with new tires that are 265/65. This is something you would need to verify with someone that is running spacers with no lift.

Is your set-up stock other than the Daystar lift, or did you replace shocks/coils too? Really like your rig. I also have the shadow mica V8 sport and am wanting to get the same wheels after I do the shocks.

I'm currently running bilstein 5100s with OME 885s in front and superflex coils in rear with airbags. The above pic was with the daystar lift still installed. This one is with the new set up. sorry about the poor lighting.

Very nice, these might wind up being my fallback option vs. the currently unavailable factory TRD Pro wheel.
I saw some [Chinese] TRD Pro knockoffs on Ebay, but personally, I'm not a fan of wheels without a traceable manufacture - this brand looks pretty legit in the aftermarket.
Looking at the 17x8, and going to a bigger tire, something in the 285/295 or wider (currently running our OEM 18" wheels with a factory sized tire, 265/60-18).
I don't see this style on their website any longer, what's the best reseller for these?
