Fog Light Frustrations.

For about a year my drivers side fog light has been out, and this past Sunday I replaced the bulb to get it fixed. Well today my passenger side fog light went out. I find it odd that the passenger side light has worked for years, and a day after replacing the drivers side, the passenger side goes out all of a sudden. They both worked for about a day. Is this just a huge coincidence or do I have something wrong with the wiring/relay/whatever that it can't power both? I don't want to replace the passenger side only to have the drivers side go out again.
Thanks.

I am sure it's a coincidence. General rule of thumb with lights is that when one goes out, you probably want to replace both.

A few months ago I had a similar occurrence. I was sure it wasn't a coincidence, and it was.

yeah, it coincidence. i had one of my nice IPF headlight bulbs burn out just before christmas and when i went to replace it i looked at the other bulb and it was just about done. -sucks too cause i cant find those bulbs anymore they were a 5000k halogen style bulb. oh well
