fog lights for '02

OK... cool

Now is the SR5 prewired for the fogs so it would be plug n play? And if I was to buy a new headlight switch w/ fog controls would it plug in the same?

I belive the '99-'02 are pre-wired (not sure about the earlier models) and when you get the steering stalk switch make sure it is for your year 4runner... the '99 does not fit the '01-'02 they are different...also you will need the relay that is under the hood in fuse box. once you get all three items your good to plug and play.....just my two cents.

I think I'm gonna go for the ones from Burtman Ind.. seems like it will have everything I need. Plus the price of that combo switch new is like $500 lol.. no thanks

I don't know where your buying your parts but the toyota dealership I went to "Toyta of Dallas" charged $95.00 for the light stalk, $55.00 for the rely and the lights I got off ebay for $55.00 each.....total $260.00.....but if you want to go w/Burtman, it is your money......just read their price is the remote lights only, not using the factory wiring...or you can get these lights on ebay and usr the factory wiring...

Yea... I looked more into the details and noticed its actual remotes for fog light control, not something I want.. will most likely go with the Hella 4runner kit

Your 4runner should be pre-wired for fogs, just looks under your bumper where your turn signals are and there should be plug taped up out of the way connected to your turn signal wires. Also, that ebay kit that was posted is not 4runner specific. You would have to make your own custom brackets to mount the fog lights. Also, the turn signal stalk switch should only be about $90 from the dealership, I bet you were looking at the whole assembly for $500. The signal stalk just plugs right in where your old one was. Check out this great write up.
