Fog Lights?

Wassup guys, I have a 2003 4Runner SR5 w/o fog lights from the factory. I really want fog lights. I can buy the off ebay (factory re placement). Not here comes the question(s)
1) DO they bolt on? I was looking at the bumper and it looks like the plastic is molded on.
2) I see a connector, but does it work when I turn on the low beams? The wores go up to the low/ high beam and keeps going from there so they turn on. So when I connect them, when I turn the band on the turn signal stock will the low beams and high beams turn on? I'll post pics later by what I'm talking about, It's 2:04 AM and completely dark out side and my phone doesn't have flash (iPhone 3GS)

they screw in and clip to the daytime running light/turn signal. If you can get under there with a flashlight you will see both are covered with a single cover. you remove the cover and then you can take off each individually. i just replaced a turn signal bulb today so i got a pretty good look. i have the new turn signal housing sitting that i haven't got around to putting in yet and new fog light housing on the way.

I'll get some pics later, it doesn't have DRL.

Arent the stock fog light bolbs the EXACT SAME BULBS as the regular low beams?

I replaced the original low beam bulbs last week in the 03 with the Sylvania Silverstar Ultra's ($50 a 2-pack) and theyre nice n bright. I KNOW! NOT AS GOOD AS AN HID KIT, but these fit my needs just fine.

9006...

The OEM fog bulbs were at lower wattage when I first replaced it. Since the fog projector type assembly cost close to $300/pair at that time, I put 35W HID in there so as not to melt something. It spread out lite better than the low beam.

(best combo - modified 9005 lows, HID fogs)

Huh, I actually have a set of pre-face lift Foglights at work from when I installed the Shrockworks bumper...

Anyways, how do you plan on turning on your foglights? I can't remember if the non-foglight vehicles still had the same signal stalk, I would guess not. Otherwise to turn the foglights on I would think you'd need to wire in a switch.

Well since the wire runs up into the head light I would guess when you turn on the regular low beams it would turn on the fogs because it's wired with it. I wonder if I would have to add a fuse for it. Maybe. But if not, I could find a switch and wire it, hopefully I don't have to splice wires because I'm a mechanic, not a tech! If you asked me to wire something I would say can I have a book to do it? LOL

Haha sorry
I'm so late, my computer crapped out In November 2011 and sill haven't fixed it.

No I haven't , sadly. I need too, but not that it's practically spring now is the time to do it.
