FINALLY!!!
The "Newsroom" page on Toyota's website has been updated with the Product Information PDF and a new news article for the 2017s! Both articles dated today, December 5.
I downloaded the Product Information PDF, and it has a designation at the end of the filename with "fnl" ("final", I presume).

I've read posts on here to contradict that. But anyone who places an order should have a written sales agreement, with all the details, signed by a manager - to do otherwise is foolish and just bad business.

^^ This. I paid a $250 refundable deposit, I believe. I'd have to double check. I also had a signed Purchase Agreement, for a 2016 TRD Pro, Quicksand, $1,500 off MSRP. Signed by sales manager and my salesman.

Confirms not much new, although it's funny early on they still mention the "trail", then they switch to the "trd off-road".

Also, as others mentioned, moonroof is now optional on the "trd off-road premium" and the SR5 premium.

Called around to different dealers in my area and none have info. Basically told me they won't know any thing until Jan 2017 and be built and delivered until March. Maybe this is different because i'm looking for a TRD Pro but i've given up until the spring unless one happens to be on the lot some day. :shrug:

How many days will a white 2017 4runner TRD Pro sit on a dealer lot?

Its supply and demand and demand wins. Unless Toyota decides to flood the market?

For me its worth it. Most dealers will get how many TRD Pro 4runners?

I will drive this thing for 10 years so its money well spent.

It was a Certified Pre-Owned 2014 that I bought two months ago and the remote start wasn't listed and I didn't know it existed until a week after I had the truck home. It's the port or dealer added option with the warning stickers under the hood and the front windows.

Anyway, I didn't think I'd ever use it but before leaving work tonight at 6pm I started it remotely and let it run for about five minutes before leaving. It was cold and rainy and getting into a truck that's already blowing hot heat is nice when it's cold and rainy out. It's also nice to be able to hop in and go knowing the oil is warm and running well.

Yes it sounds like the remote start option would be nice to have. I still have time to add it.

Unfortunately I only have a 1 car garage and my 2016 jeep Hardrock Rubicon takes the garage.

So if the 4runner is outside a remote start would be cool to have in winter.

In my area there are so many 2016 4runners sitting on the lots.

Sure seems like Toyota is going to need to offer some incentives to move current 4runner inventory if the 17s are coming next month? They are giving away all other vehicles as it is with 0% financing and huge discounts off MSRP.

They haven't done it in the past 6 years so they probably won't start now.

For me the 6 or so closest dealers did not have a silver SR5p w third row seating. Dealers are not dealing much either on their 16s so I ordered exactly what I wanted. There is also the slight resale benefit.

Buying a 16 at this point, you also get the benefit of the car looking "lower mileage" (assuming you drive the average 12-15k per year) on the other end if you decide to sell. I personally think that can offset the nominal "gain" of buying one model year newer this late in a year.

You can buy now at invoice pricing(Edmonds,NADA,Kelly bluebook) if you find what you are looking for on a lot.

There are not that many TEP with KDSS left in my area but if you want a Limited they are heavy in inventory.
