I just confirmed this if the dealership is St. Charles Toyota of ILLINOIS not Indiana. I called and their inventory of 13 2017 models are inbound and not available for purchase yet.

I could give you the VINs for the 168 2017 4Runners within a 100-mile radius of me, doesn't mean that they've hit the lots.
Redsox said "2017s have hit the lots" not that St Charles has them inbound.
Folks on this thread have been extremely helpful, despite my threadjack, both on the thread and in PM. I just wanted to say thanks to all of you. I appreciate everybody looking out and helping me with my search. My wife's mag grey TEP is in our garage as of tonight. Thanks all.
I was in agreement with you. These 2017 that Redsox claims are not available and did not even show up on Edmunds when I searched.
They're definitely en route!I stopped by a local dealership last night and had an interesting conversation with one of the salesmen. I told him I was just looking around and waiting for the 2017 TRD Pro's to come out and that I was interested in specifically a Cement one. He told me to hold on and let him check to see when they would be available to order. Well, lo and behold, he comes back and says they already have one in Cement on the way and it will be here on the 21st of next month. I'm just trying to figure out if they are really available to order or if he was pulling my leg a bit... =)
Just saw that for SR5 Premiums and TRD Off Road Premium the sunroof is now an option and no longer standard. May or may not be a big deal to anyone.
Also saw that the TRD Off Roads models get "carbon fiber look" center console.
Still not available until January/February.
As of today no 2017 4Runners available nationwide and none shown to configure on toyota.com
And zero indications on Toyota's website that it will ever exist in 2017. Could it be that Toyota knows of a cataclysmic disaster happening in early 2017, and they have no intention of even making 2017's?
