If 5th generation is last of body on frame then hold on to it because it will soar and keep the value up ala FJ Cruiser. The 2017 model is up on Toyota.com but I still think 2018 will be major change.

Remember people, that your region determines what models their dealers sell, NOT Toyota. Putting your zip code into the builder causes Toyota.com to present you with regional choices, not national.

Hey greensky, I guess your issue is a regional thing. I'm in the SoCal area, and I just tried to "build" a TRD Pro. Both Barcelona Red and Super White are available, while Cement is "out of inventory."
I'm in the "build" section now, configuring a TRD Off-Road Premium, which is what I am aiming for. I chose Magnetic Gray, and the sunroof is not an option for that color. Even though I was hoping to have the sunroof, it is not a deal breaker if I don't get it. I see it now as one less thing to worry about later on.

I stopped by a local dealership last night and had an interesting conversation with one of the salesmen. I told him I was just looking around and waiting for the 2017 TRD Pro's to come out and that I was interested in specifically a Cement one. He told me to hold on and let him check to see when they would be available to order. Well, lo and behold, he comes back and says they already have one in Cement on the way and it will be here on the 21st of next month. I'm just trying to figure out if they are really available to order or if he was pulling my leg a bit... =)

If it's really inbound, he can give you a VIN, if not, well .......

I built a TRD off road premium and it only let me choose white to get KDSS and the sunroof option?

go youtube a tacoma trd pro in cement. toyota.com's build picture in cement is a lot darker, looks more like magnetic grey metallic. it's more on the light grey side. i seen cement in person last week on a scion, looks pretty nice.

as far as being hassled, most TRD pros go for MSRP. if you're lucky, you'll get a couple hundred off. others will mark them up to 10,000 above MSRP i've seen and add ridiculous amounts of accessories. the used 4runner TRD Pros are even more pricey.

Yes thanks, I watched some cool TRD Pro Tacoma reviews with the Cement color and its definitely nice.

I have always wanted a white vehicle so thats my first choice. I am sure if I saw the Cement in person I would dig it. I actually like the red also.

I wish Toyota would put up some pics of the cement on their website.

Inferno and Quicksand are available on the Tacoma but not the 4Runner? Oh and why do so many of you not like having a sunroof?

Also, in the pictures on the website it looks like you get the TRD Pro badge on the tailgate. I guess Toyota felt the need to give you a few more reminders that you bought a Pro just in case you forget.

They could at least include A nice roof rack system. Maybe partner with Thule or Yakima and throw in a nice roof rack system.

And put TR D pro badges all over the rack system.

I haven't seen or heard any concrete evidence that shows a PRO will be in the states in January, FYI. The 17 4Runners will be on land by then for sure. But last I had heard, a PRO wouldn't be around till close to March

Probably depends on your region. For Gulf States they have January dates for arrival at the port in Houston.

Took them so long to add the 2017s to the website because they've been busy photoshopping all of the pictures to update them

As in, adding the faux carbon fiber trim in the center console, but the upper display/steering wheel is from a pre 2015??
