Good price, just curious if you know this answer. I live in TN, full autos are legal, I can order the 9051 AFO II From any knife site or go to the local knife store and get one, is there really a difference with yours vs other benchmade auto's?

That's interesting you say that because the federal regulation statement on the BenchMade webpage only states Oregon residents can purchase auto knives.

And to answer your last question, no - there is no difference between this knife and any other 9051 AFO. I'm just selling mine for way cheaper! If you can find a legal way that you can purchase this knife, please let me know. Otherwise, no can do. Sorry.

Kansas is also legal to buy/sell/ carry autos now. Also, pardon me if I am wrong, but it looks like the original AFO knife, not the AFO II. My AFO II has a bigger push button and the spine lock is centered. Lastly, the AFO II has a glass breaker on the clip end.

You are correct, flyboy. I appreciate you bringing this to my attention. I really do. I honestly didn't notice the difference when I was trying to find the info on it for this ad. My apologies everybody.
However, now I can't seem to find any info on a 9051 AFO. All my searches lead to the AFO II.

None the less, it's a great knife, and works fantastically. The spring action is like it was on day one, The safety is nice & snappy, and the clip is still tight, as I usually had it in my pocket. When I did use it, I carried it almost every day for a few years while I was in the military. I didn't use it to pry on anything, or cut anything outrageous. Since I retired over five years ago, it's been sitting in a drawer because I wasn't sure IF I could carry it.
Now I can't carry at work because we have a VERY strict "no personal tools" policy, and other times when I do carry a pocket knife on me, it's usually a much smaller one.

No problem! Glad you didn't take any offense to my post, just trying to let you know. I'm pretty sure they discontinued the original AFO, but your price seems fair. For those that are wondering, if you are LEO/military, Benchmade hooks you up pretty well. You can send the knife back to them and they will go through it and fix/replace minor parts and send free clips. GLWS OP.

That's cool. I think BenchMade needs to update their website! It seems there are a LOT more states that allow them now, than what their website shows...
