For those looking to replace XREAS but have no intention of going off road

So I just got done replacing the XREAS suspension in my 2004 Sport V6. After reading all the threads on here, I was initially going to go with Bilstein 5100s all around. However, I found a set of 2011 OEM FJ Cruiser front suspension (Front Tokico Struts) for a good price and decided to put that in instead. For the rears, I just used KYB Excel G Shocks as they are billed as OEM replacements. As someone who uses the vehicle as a daily driver and family vehicle, I have to say I LOVE the ride of my car now. It's amazing how much better it feels. I would recommend this to someone who just wants to replace the XREAS without spending a lot.

As a funny side effect, I think I leveled my truck! I knew right away it felt taller, but I decided to actually measure the change. Both wheel wells now sit at approximately 35" (35 on the front and 35 and change on the rear)! I've attached a photo to the post to show the effect as I happened to park next to another 4th Gen at lunch today. The difference in stance is quite noticeable!

Was your XREAS leaking and how many miles? Does it ride more firm?

Mine was leaking. It had 115k when I bought it and has 156k now. The ride is definitely more firm than before but I had been riding around on leaky XREAS from the get go. However I LOVE the way she rides now. Not too firm. I'm actually very pleasantly surprised.

I think that's how they should look stock from the factory. I want to level mine but not in a hurry with 90k on '06. It looks great by the way!

Thanks. Now that the suspension is done, next up is the stereo and the LED interior lights. But this was on the list since I got the 4R so I had to take care of that first.
