We have a 2 year old Yellow Lab. If you ask her she is a princess and we are her loyal servents. I will say Labs and Goldens are the best dogs I have ever had.

Then there is my little bud. Never thought I would get won over but pugs are great companions.

I agree, go to a shelter and pick the one out you like! You probably will find 3 or 4 but choose the one most suited to your lifestyle. Personally I like pit mixes, they have a bad rep many times, but make a great family dog if not trained to be aggressive.

I have 3 pups. All love the 4Runner. It's a fight to keep them out of it whenever we open the back and they're outside.

We have a 7 yr old huskey (Anna), a 6 yr old shetland sheepdog (Sandy), and the newest addition is an 8 month old australian shepherd (Cooper aka dumb dumb).

Another Lab owner here. This is my guy Tucker. He's just over 3 and is a typical lab full of energy. If there's water around good luck keeping him out. We try to get out and shoot some ducks a few times a year as well.

I've taken Duke (100 lbs, German Shepherd) on a few outings in the new - to me - 2011 TE. He loves it! Plenty of room for him and gear in the back! My only concern is that one day he'll leap in or out of the back and catch a paw in part of the sliding tray (hand grip or underneath)... And that could be bad!
