Peaches is beautiful! I had an American Bulldog, Lou. He passed unexpectedly last May. Miss him & think of him everyday. Truly amazing dogs!

My 100lb German buddy. Rescued from a shelter when he was 1 yr old, but surprisingly German Shepherd like in both appearance and temperament (I love the concept of rescuing dogs, but you never know what you're going to get).

He loses his mind ever time he sees me packing up the 4runner; loves going on drives and loves exploring/hiking/camping...pretty much the perfect dog for what I do. Though given his slightly above average size and height (for the GSD breed) I wonder if I should have gone with a bigger truck or even a pickup; he easily takes up half the back area, leaving little room for gear.

Banksy loves the 4Runner.

Banksy looks like a cousin to our mutt (border collie/chow chow we think?), Tulo (we're sadly, Rockies fans). He doesn't have a 4runner to ride in yet, but loves the front seat of our Tacoma. Once the Tacoma sells, we're excited for him to enjoy that power rear window!

EDIT: Sold the truck, bought the 4runner, Tulo loves the back window of course.

^^Elvis I have a black lab that makes that face when she's in trouble. She is 12 and I don't seem to have any photos of her helping with the 4Runners.

We have 5 dogs total. We use the 4runner to haul them for all their various activities.

Luna is our deaf Border Collie. This is us in herding class. She is a rescue.


This is Sol, our 7 month old Border Collie. He will be learning some herding soon too.


This is Orion, our 3 year old Australian Shepard. He is pretty athletic, lol


This is Nyx, our nine year old Australian Shepard rescue. She is the old lady of the house.


This is Freya, our 5 year old Great Pyrenees.

So I just realized I never posted my two children in this thread. These are my kids, both German Shorthaired Pointers, half siblings (same dad) and a year apart. They're actually the reason we bought a 4R in the first place, because we needed more room for them.

This is our girl "Skyler". She's a rescue (Staffie/Boxer mix) that we adopted 2 1/2 years ago.

She rides on one of these Mud River seat covers in the back seat of our TEP. (Stock photo.)

I only wish that our beloved (late) Weimaraner "Smoky" was still around to enjoy the ride as well. Forever in our hearts.
