For those with CBI rear bumpers: installation questions

How difficult was it to install the swing arm onto the bumper post? I'm finding it near impossible getting the bushings to go over the bumper post, and am wondering what the technique is for this to work.

I didn't install one but taking one apart it took a lot of effort to removed it from the post.

Rubber hammer? Lube?

It may take a couple people. One to hold it over the brass spindle and another to hammer it down on there. I'd use a dead blow hammer or brass hammer. Maybe a piece of wood on top or something so you aren't hitting the swing arm directly. Apply some general all purpose automotive grease to it and that will help as well.
