Forever having brake issues

Hey folks

Seems I cannot avoid having brake issues with my 2014 SR5 Premium, 125K miles, my wifes daily driver.

I replaced the factory set with a Powerstop set, rear pads wore quickly and was getting pulsation

Replaced those with NAPA premium rotors and Akebono pads and had better luck with wear but eventually pulsation again

JUST replaced the brakes and rotors again this time with Bendix rotors pads.

I followed Toyotas recommended bedding procedure TO THE T, everything worked great, pulsation was gone, smooth quiet braking.... but here I am about 8K miles later and its by far the worst its ever been, steering wheel shakes side to side the whole vehicle shakes and pedal pulses ONLY when braking.

Ive watched a bunch of DIY's and am not seeing anything I am missing, any ideas? Should I just go back to factory parts? Is it the way my wife drives?? LOL! Not sure what to do

Make sure your slide pins are free and well greased for the calipers.

OEM rotors aren’t expensive. Made in Japan and balanced to perfection. NAPA rotors, even premium ones, are not upgrade. Usually cheap Chinese cast iron.

i usually stay with oe when i can. toyota spend billions engineering these vehicles, why second guess them.

For any brake parts I would always stick with OE unless its performance brake parts.

NAPA calipers and NAPA rotors have never let me down. BUT, I always have used NAPA calipers and NAPA rotors together. Never mixed and matched brands. If you have it all back together and your vehicle is safely coming to a stop and there's no leaks, I'd just worry about it next time when you do the maintenance again.
