Ha, I actually used that on an old Corolla I had, definitely will look better the more coats you put on but for your application you should've used the Bed Armor that comes in the aerosol can.

I used the product on my rock sliders, but would be skeptical to apply it else where. It looks to me like the you have large Kevlar pieces that didn't mix evenly. Regardless, It should hold up well for you.

Also like [MENTION=65614]Antman[/MENTION] said, test it out, you can get an even texture. I'll upload a pic of it on my sliders soon.

Wow. OP, the best thing you can do is:
1. Get a piece of cardboard
2. Practice, practice practice on that piece of cardboard!
3. Once you have figured out how to apply it so it looks presentable, THEN use it on your truck.

Much smoother application than OP. This would have looked much better. BUT big balls to OP to even attempt. Enjoy.

with that stuff you have to use a textured roller otherwise it won't come out with a consistent texture. If you used Herculiner, which actually has chips of rubber in it, you can use a nap roller and get decent consistency. I have not been impressed with the duplicolor products vs others on the market. When you sand herculiner it smells like rubber, duplicolor just smells like paint. May say something about what's in it, or not in this case.
