As the title states. OS is Linux Cinnamon XFCE 22.3. Browser is Firefox up to date. I'm getting an endless stream of banner adds which covers up the answer box.

Thanks for reporting this, Sam. An ad sitting over the reply box is our problem to fix, not yours. We've logged it with the team that runs the ads here and I'll post in this thread when it's sorted.

If you can, tell us roughly where the ad sits (bottom of the screen, or inside the thread) and whether closing it helps. That will speed things up.

It happened over in 4th gen Forum, Wipers thread. I hit "Reply" button. Answer dialog box appears at bottom of screen with banners in between. When I scroll down, dialog box disappears and endless banners appear. Interestingly, Reply button is working in the thread which is how I am responding to your query.

It seems to be working now.
Thanks for checking, Sam. That timing isn't a coincidence: we moved a block of sponsored tiles last night that was sitting between the posts and the reply box. It now loads below the reply box, so you shouldn't have to scroll past it to answer anymore.

If it comes back on any thread, post here and we'll look again.

This addressing and taking action on user and site issues is excellent.
