I negotiated a purchase and paid for this item on January 2nd and the seller has yet to ship the rack. He claims the shipping cost is more than anticipated, but that is not my problem. I asked him to refund my money and he can relist the rack. He said that he would refund me when he sells the rack as he doesnÂ’t have the money. Forum members are forwarded. That’s poor selling etiquette. I have a listing for several items. Many have been spoken for, but I’ve collected $0 because I’ve not removed many things from my truck. Just simple etiquette seems to be lacking.
I once sold a wall hanging - a metal 3D bridge. Damn thing ended up costing 3x more than I estimated and I made like $20 on the thing. But I ate the cost because it was the agreed upon deal.

Thanks for the warning. So frustrating to have sellers like this. They're super responsive until you pay them. I'm in the middle of a purchase from a seller on here as well and same thing. I'm pending reporting him also if he doesn't pull through on the delivery of my item.

My sympathies. This used to be a sacred site for buying and selling.

Funny the guy had a TRD Pro rack, and presuming he bought a $50K+ Pro, and yet he doesn't have the money to send back to you. People aren't what they appear to be.
