Found a harness while playing.

I was switching all fluids to amsoil this last weekend and while i was relaxing under the runner i spotted a harness tied off hanging with the lower blinkers/running lights in the front lower fascia right next to the little round fog light holes..

are these for fog lights?

has anyone wired them up before?

If you do not have fog lights installed, then yes, that is what its for. All vehicles have the same wiring harness for lighting.

I have a 99 and I don't think I have such a harness...

SR5's are all pre-wired, the base models did not get the same harness, I know this as I had a 2.7 4Runner for 5 years and went through this very issue.

I never really noticed such a harness there before. I guess I'll have to take a look under there tomorrow.

Yep 01' SR5 here, have harness also......the relay box is pre-wired for the foglights also......now if they were a bit less expensive. :dancin:

Not to jack this thread, but since we're on the subject already!

I wondered if you guys knew of any posts on replacing a fog light. I already searched and didn't come up with anything of much assistance.

My right fog light was cracked when I bought the rig, and it's bugged me every night that I want to drive with them on. It looks like a Chevy with just one working.

I got down there and took a look. It seems pretty simple of a task, but was just wondering what you guys knew about it.
