Yeah. Trust me, they're teasing me more than anyone else while just sitting on the floor in front if me. 
I plan on doing everything in 24 hrs - front co's, front AOR plate bumper, rear SS 1.2 kit, read AOR bumper, new tires, etc. (alignment the following day)
I'll put a build thread through the following day.

Most vendors have them listed for 1450 to 1550 ... was able to get them for a bit less.
Worth it for everyone? No. For me? Yes. I like having an adjustable CO that is rebuildable and tunable. I really like that the bodies on these are zinc coated, similar to Bilsteins. Great for wet / snowy weather. I'm not a fan of the shafts being chrome instead of nitro steel like my Icons were. I'll have to see if they pit easily with winter weather / mag chloride exposure.
I will probably go with 2.0 with resis in the rear eventually, but I'm going to see how they match up with LC Tokico shocks for the time being.

Not a master mechanic, not even close. Just motivated to get the core build done quickly while having an idea of what it takes after installing a few different suspension setups in the past.
I'm not naive, though. I know I can get stuck for hours on something annoying like not being able to press out the old bj from the spindle (putting in new UCAs).

Fox has three different setups for our trucks, in case anyone is interested. Ive linked this before on the forum, but never hurts to share with more people.

When I bought mine they only had them for a tacoma( 4runner mounts are 15º different). When I installed my 2.5 fox coilovers I had to redrill all 6 upper shock mounts. Hopefully the ones you bought are 4runner specific.

Yeah. We'll see when the day comes. The manual says "4runner 1996-2002", but lists the 1st gen Tacoma as well.
I don't mind re-tapping the top hats if it comes to that. There's details about these coilovers from Fox that impress me over the Icons that I ran.

I've got those on my rig, and just put on the Icon 2.5 piggy-backs in the rear. Handles extremely well, especially when things get bumpy.
Interested to see where you locate your resis. Mine are in a goofy spot (hasn't been a problem, but I'm tired of explaining that it hasn't been a problem).
I've also got the Total Chaos upper control arms (which compliment the Fox shox well IMO). We did run into some trouble with the UCA install. Took some fiddling to ensure the control arm won't interact with (smash into) the resi hose fittings.

I knew when purchasing these that the resi placement would be a "one off" situation. They came with brackets (I haven't looked closely) which I was told wouldn't translate to the 4runner.
I'm not too worried about the resi hose, but I do realize that the placement of the reservoir and hose routing will affect its possible contact with the UCAs when in droop / extension.
That's a +1 for Icon. Their hose fittings and resi mounts made it almost impossible to have contact issues.

Nice coilovers, they look a bit familiar, but sadly no resi's for me.
I absoluetly love these coilovers and you made a great choice. The 600lb coils are really nice on road and do great on washboard type roads. I just took them on a trail today for the first time and it was mostly washboard/bumpy terrain and the front soaked up the road so well. I have the LC Tokico Trekmaster shocks in the rear with Superflex coils and they seem so archaic now compared to the front. The back was all over the place while I felt completely in control up front. I can't wait to upgrade to rear FOX's.

The set that I have here (# 880-02-409) are rated 0-3" ...
