Basically what is posted just above. Usually about $10 for a pair. All different sizes and lengths available for cheap. I usually leave the bottom loose and just make sure it is long enough to cover the shaft. This way no water can get trapped when you do crossings... Works perfect and protects the shaft from pitting.

The only downside is if you find yourself in a lot of water they need to be drained as part of your maintenance.
I cut the tie, rinse the inside, then use spray silicone.
