FOX SHOCKS: *Group Buy*

"Danny, As per Fox, we did get the incorrect tracking number and Fox will have these to our warehouse by 10/7 and outbound shipping to you. We apologize for ANY delay"

I have not received any answers here. The tracking number I got from them on Monday is still not active/live with UPS. Last response I got was that they were checking with the warehouse. Is there anyone else who participated in the GB that has not received 2.0s?

I guess only you and I got the short end of the stick.

I spoke with the shop again yesterday and apparently the warehouse they worked with for this GB shipped our orders to another set of customers. This has been quite painful experience and too much time wasted on the phone and e-mails over an online order.

They are working to get the items picked up by one of their own guys rather than wait for shipment.

..add me to this list. Waiting on 2.5 front/2.0 rear. Still no tracking, received an email saying ETA of 10/7 and 10/24.

I missed the GB but ordered a set on 9/15/15. The icon components came very quickly . I did receive a call from total automotive a while back stating the eta for the fox components would be somewhere in mid october. Not sure if this helps any of you

Thanks but not related

No bueno...

There may be a silver lining for those who've had their order "delayed".....maybe they'll include a spanner wrench.

Some how I doubt that.

I do agree - Very no Bueno.

Question - Can the installation be completed with out the spanner wrench?

At least you have gotten tentative dates from them. This is all I got yesterday:

"We apologize as we are still getting the details from our vendor. The tracking numbers we sent to you were obviously wrong. Working as hard as we can to get you.. your order. Will update when we get more details."

We are all in the same boat my friend.

They are working to do one of 2 things:

1. Have Fox drop ship, which will eliminate the middle man (warehouse idiots that caused this whole mess).

2. Total Automotive has a truck out in CA that will pick up from them directly and take packages to UPS stores.

From what I understand, Fox doesn't like to drop ship, so it will most likely be option 2.

I doubt they are doing this for just me, I'm sure this applies to all outstanding orders.

Call and talk to Richard, I have had the best luck with him.

I will update the thread if I get more info.

Have the fronts, still no rear shocks or spanner wrench. Last 2 emails got no reply, no eta, no tracking. The original time frame I got was 3 weeks...

I've just about had it with this company...

I just talked to Richard who has been diligently calling me with updates, he advised that my order will be shipped directly to me from FOX. I dont know how everyone else's order will be processed.

Than, he proceeds to tell me that there was no spanner included in the group buy. I told him that it was included in the GB (I just checked again and it says "Free shipping and spanner")

He than argues with me about how it isn't included and he can provide me with options of spanners, I asked that he checks the GB again and he says "I checked with one of the forum members and it wasn't included".

I'm considering cancelling my order and sending back the ICON springs.

2 weeks plus in delays, major confusion, no urge for customer service and now this is just ridiculous.

Just to clarify. Is your problem with FOX? Or TOTAL AUTOMOTIVE PERFORMANCE?

I sent a PM last week to SKP-4R, knowing he was a sales rep for T.A.P. I know I missed the group buy, but I wanted to get a price (and I'm 99% sure I would have pulled the trigger) on a FOX 2.5 remote with DSC setup. I just had a question or two about whether I should run 2.5s or could save money by using 2.0s in the rear.

I still haven't heard anything, and I was thinking about just going elsewhere. If a company doesn't care about my business, then I don't care to do business with them.

Good customer service has value, and I have no problem paying for it.

I have been extremely busy with college and other projects. I have received your PM and was going to get back to you later this week when I had more info on pricing. You are right. Good customer service is worth paying a premium for. I pride myself on contacting customers quickly and efficiently with accurate information (which I have not yet received) and I think plenty of people will vouch for that. I have been kept in the dark with the issues people have been having which is surprising since this is my GB. I do not know if the issue is on FOX's end or TotalAutomotive. Ultimately I am the one organizing and running this GB and therefore I must take full responsibility for all the issues everyone seems to be having. I wish I had more information or better means to help but since i have been kept in the dark and nobody seems to be giving any accurate answers, there's just not much I can do.

You can contact TotalAutomotiveLV or email [email protected]. He was my contact for this GB and will hopefully have more information to provide than I can.

Total Automotive.

SKP-4R is a good dude, he helped me quite a bit initially, that's all I can say about that.

Regarding the shop itself, to me, it sounds like there's too many people running the shop. Read all my posts and make your own judgement. I thank they are trying to make sure all orders get delivered, but quite frankly, to me, that is bare minimum because how can they truly take your money if they don't deliver the items (which they aren't delivering everything, spanner is now not a part of it).

I will write a full review of my experience at some point. I also had some communication problems at first. I was calling/texting with Chas who decided to stop communicating back with me all together, which I thought was strange and rude.. That alone should have been an indication.

To be honest, if it wasn't for Sean SKP-4R) spending an hour on the phone with me, helping me with making a decision, I would have never even decided to purchase through them.

Again, make your own judgement. this may have been a single incident with me. Maybe ask other's for their experience.

I'll wait to hear from you. Everyone speaks highly of you, and it must be for a reason. I'm sorry to hear you have not been getting the information you need in a timely manner.

Initially TA called me shortly after my order and told me they had the rears in stock but the fronts wouldn't ship until around 10/3. TA and SKP-4R were very clear on the delay before I ordered. On 10/7 I finally called TA and the guy told me FOX had just released them...on 10/8 next day at 1:30pm I received the fronts. They only issue I have is TA didn't call/email on 10/3 to give me an update. The only problem I have with FOX is the springs on the fronts are beat up.

Are you going to get them exchanged some how?

Was there a spanner included in your order?

Those are some juicy fat springs by the way.
