Freak accident with trunk support strut

There's a few threads on replacing the hood struts, but I'm not certain if they're the same length. It could at least give you direction in terms of model. I think I bought mine off of Amazon for the hood.

Oh yeah, my hood struts are looking pretty rough where the ball meets the hood bracket

I used StrongArm brand in the past with excellent results. I put them on my 2005 Acura TL and just one was plenty strong enough to hold up the hood. Had to be careful opening the hood cause it would shoot up with a ton of force!!



Amazon sells em. I was looking last night after reading this thread to replace my 4runners with them

Looks like you still need to buy the ball joint separately? After what happened there is no way in hell I am not going to replace both parts.
