Freaky brake problem this morning

Thanks guys, I flushed the brake fluid twice & it is still happening occasionally.. I am going to replace the check valve next. Two dealerships are telling me it is two different things - one is telling me I am talking about a "air control valve" part number 17630 that regulates air (vacuum?) for the power steering system and the brake system. They tell me they replace them occasionally due to them being cracked. It is a $100 part though which makes me think it might have the wrong part.. I don't suppose any of you have the part number of the "check valve" do you guys?

you will get moisture/condensation in the lines from the temp differences in the vacuum lines, and they can freeze in extreme temps. a clean check valve will help prevent this from happening, as will letting your truck warm up before driving it, and allowing the engine temp to thaw out any frozen moisture in the system.
