Not worth it.. they will not leave you alone after. They will Call , email, pigeon message , snail mail, and just plain harass you after that two weeks.

yeah i have sirius and i heard them talking about free 2 weeks starting today i believe. i like sirius, so i don't mind it. I just have to remember to call and "cancel" it once a year. then they give you the promo price for another year to keep you. I've done it about 4-5 years now. I think its around $100 for the year with the promo pricing

I tried that when my 4runner was new. Got the intro price for a year, and marked my calendar. Called to cancel, got promo for another year. Called next year, was only able to get 3 months. Forgot to call that after 3 months and it auto-renewed at an insane rate. Pretty much lost everything I'd "saved" up to that point. Called to cancel and really canceled because I rarely listened to it except on occasional long trips.

dealers have apps to reactivate it for 3 months on their used cars in hopes the customers will buy it... I mean from what I heard through the grape vine

There's none of that. The offer is free to everyone who has a Sirius radio with a plan that has expired. You don't have to do anything but turn the radio on and listen for the next two weeks.
