Picked mine up at the Federal 4Wheelparts location just south of 36 in COLORADO....

They had a dyno there that day with some oil burners pulling into the high 700's in torque... :wow: :jaw:

Got mine in Charlotte brotha. They had no idea about the coupon but accepted it with zero hassle. Cool guy working at the front and was interested in my setup as well.

I'll tell you guys if the one in Raleigh works out, so that anyone else in this triangle area will be able to know it's valid there if they're too lazy to go out and risk coming home with either nothing, or an unnecessary expensive receipt.

I just showed them my phone and held it far enough away from them so they couldn't scroll down... just sayin'

I need one soon anyways, so if it's 20 I'll go try your trick, but if I can't get it for free, I don't mind spending 20, since it's not really optional, I'll need it eventually.

Just picked mine up too. Said something about the free strap was only a sale that they had on the weekend and has expired. I told them it was an online coupon and showed him my phone. He read it aloud to his supervisor "free strap expires 10/27" ... his supervisor looked disappointed but said ok.

I went down there to talk to them about a few things, and when I said I had a Google offer, the guy said "yeah, that's only applicable at the stores it lists. It's because they're hurting foe business or something. Sorry" :-/

That's pretty cheap for a recovery strap when you compare to around $60 for an ARB. I'd suspect there isn't a lot of stretch to the strap even though it seems to be labelled as a recovery strap. Also check the stitching on the ends of the strap, which I'll bet is sub-par. I'd reserve a strap like that as a backup or for use in the mud or somewhere else you don't want a good strap getting ruined.

It's cheap.. it's made in china... (it was free to me)... I won't use it for recovery, but as a tow strap it will likely do just fine. All your points are valid and I agree with them... beyond that.. again.. free to me :wave:
