I am no techinical guru on coilovers thus I just pretty much told ICON the setup for my rig and told them what I was looking to do and let them worry about all that. You are not chopped liver, I just dont know all of the technicals except that my bank account took a big hit this month :wow2:
 
At Icon getting it dialed in. It will be about 5 days before I have it back. You will just have yo wait and see just like me
 
I saw your runner at Icon today. Nice! What rear springs are you running? I would be interested in your old rear shocks if you want to sell them.
 
The Fronts are done. The rears are going on tonight

Nice! Looks like a sweet set up! They don't appear to be adjustable when on the vehicle... Is that correct? Looks like the UCA, as well as the reservoir hose would be in the way. Damn cool none the less.

We will have to wait and see. I get it back Friday. These pics are from ICON. I believe you should be able to adjust it from the other side though. The CDC will allow for dampening adjustment for sure :D

let me know how they ride! i'm am thinking of doing this as well! The biggest thing is the fact that i can adjust the dampening settings to smooth out the ride even more.
 
Any idea of how often those will need to be rebuilt? They look great! I will have to wait until I live somewhere they don't throw salt on the roads in the winter before I drop that kind of coin. Again, looks great. Can't wait to read the review.
 
Well they are truly amazing. I am still getting the front ride height dialed in and I need to go get her aligned but it just floats over the bumps. I took her out on a rutted out dirt road about a mile from my house and flew over it at 40 mph like it was nothing. Then I dialed it up to five for the street and it is just perfect. Here are a few cell phone pics but more to come.

As far as adjusting them you do need to use the hilift but the spanner wrench went in just fine. You have to do quarter turns and go back forth from one side of the coilover to the other to avoid the reservoir hose. It took a little longer but it was really no big deal.

Here is a pic of the rears that shows the remote reservoir placement. I haven't had a chance to stuff the tire but will get to that after I get the front dialed in.

Looks like they had to change the shape of the top-hat to make room for the bypass hose. Congrats dude, it better ride nice for all that coin.
