Same problem here I have an issue with a vehicle that I don’t know how to fix before taking it to the mechanic. I’d like to post about it here.
I have a vehicle that will squeak as if there is metal grinding past some other piece of metal. I don’t really experience it at higher speeds definitely on lower speeds and often times when the car is in drive It won’t move forward and I press the gas. It will resist as if the brakes are engaged.
Usually, I’ve seen this happen after using the parking break, but I’m not smelling any breaks burning. My steering was also squeaking at some point so the fluid was just topped up by my mechanic. He did say we can look into this further when I wanna do more work, but I’m scared to drive the vehicle now.
