From 5G to 3G

What's Up?? Jersey boy here totaled my 05 and just picked up 97...looking to do some work on it right away...any suggestions for lift and tire size?...using for highway and offroad

Welcome to the forum. Sorry to hear about the 5th gen but glad you made the upgrade to a 3rd gen:) check out the stickies and you'll be happy to find lots of good info. Plus, there are some absolute geniuses here on the forum who are very helpful.
What kind of build are you thinking? How much you wanna go off-road?

whoops crap. forgot to welcome him first.... didn't see that he is a new member. LOL

Thanks for the welcome...like to probably do a 3" lift and new wheels and tires....bull bar, skid plate for now...just got new interior seats, console and back bumper for now.
 
I'm in jersey also. I live in highlands, on weekends I'm in Lakewood and brick.

I'm waiting on my lift, front is tundra bilstein 5100 shocks with eibach coils and rear is bilstein long travel 5100 with toytec superflex.
 
Williamstown, like 15 minutes from Philly. Can't wait to get started on this truck..had an 85 toyota pick up a long time ago with lift and loved it.
