Has anyone had problems with the front axel boots leaking on their 4th gen?
I'm not surprised given the miles I have (121,000 on a 2004); however I was shocked at the price for the parts. My mechanic (not dealer) said it was more reliable to replace the entire axel and boots rather than just a boot kit. The cost for one axel came in at $500.00.
Thoughts?
