Front Bumper question...

Hey guys! I just picked up an 02 sr5 4wd recently w/ 123k. I would like to say its super clean, compared to the ones I looked at while shopping for it. The only problem it had was the previous owner supposedly hit a dear when he first bought it, so the front bumper is slightly dented in the middle and the driver side is pushed back maybe an inch or two. I'm pretty anal about things like that and would love to fix it. But before I try i would like to ask you guys for advise/opinions. I'm hoping this is something that i can just adjust by taking off the bumper (hopefully not a damaged bumper support). I'm new to the whole 4runner deal so any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

Oh and if there are any MD/VA members know of any shops/junk yards where i can get a replacement grill and maybe bumper for a reasonable price that would be cool.

well hopefull it is just the bumper. There is a crash bare that runs between the 2 frame rails for support. There is also connections on each side of the bumper that help brace the sides. If all that is bent you might as well step up and buy an offroad bumper cause you are just going to cut all the stuff out anyway.

I hit a deer earlier this summer and the only thing that didn't move was the bumper crash bar (reinforcement bar), but it's hard to say w/o removing the bumper cover. If you just get down there an look from the bottom up, you'll know what's bent and should be able to judge based on how good you are with a BFH if you can bring it back to square...

I hit a 6-point buck and my bumper was flush with the headlight on the passenger side, but everything was fixed pretty easily (by me). So, yours shouldn't be too bad.
