Replaced my front cv's about a month ago, just got my 99 sr5 from the dealership because my front wheel bearing, on the driver side, went out and I figured with 207k on the odometer I might as well do both...
$950 in goddam parts, and $650 in goddam labor. ****ing highway robbery, considering I got quoted $1300 for parts and labor.
So, Ive got parts numbers, but no clear consensus on insertion depth. Is it just inside the output, or pushed all the way in against the diff carrier?
Id love to start my own thread, but I apparently dont have enough posts to do so, and am not going to spam threads with useless drivel to get enough.
I would appreciate any input, guys. Its getting to the point I can disassmble my front end by memory...
