A black set has just been shipped to WI. We have two sets of brackets primed and ready for paint or shipment if anyone is interested.

It depends on the bumper. If you need them to hang a little lower, they can be fabricated that way. Let me know exactly what you need.

Sounds good. Thanks! I will definitely let y'all know. I'm looking into the addicted or savage hybrids but I'm still undecided. And I'm sure a lift won't play a difference in the matter

question

I'm sure someone had asked this but I'm not going through every page to find the answer. When your using these with a stock front bumper when the strap is pulled tight does it not hit the bumper? Any reports of people bending their front bumper up?

I'll take mine brackets alone since I would like to order red shackles.

Thanks man!! I really appreciate it! Let us know when we can pay you. I would like to PayPal you the funds asap! I'll also give you my address.

I'm happy I've got a set already waiting for me, thank you again! They look amazing!!

Haha, i probably would have bought these back in the day if I saw this thread. :boink:
Cant believe this thread goes back to 2007.

Yes someone has asked, no it doesn't, if you want to know how or why then search through every page as there's a picture.

No, suspension or a lift won't make a difference at all. I've got a lift on mine as do many others who have these.

So i just got the Savage front bumper. Will the mounts still work? I know the front plate sits sorta low so I'm not sure if a strap or chain will hit when its taught?

I haven't seen the mounting points on the frame in relation to where that bumper is, so I can't tell you exactly.

If you can PM me a picture so we can see where the mounting points are in relation to the bumper, it'll help. I'll be happy to work with you to get some something that'll meet your needs.

I don't have the bumper mounted but I'll try to find some pictures off the internet. The bumper is ordered and it probably won't have it for a couple months. But I'll see if I can find some pics

Just finished up more sets after the others sold. These are primed and ready for paint if anyone is interested.

The raw material used? is it a 6" length piece of 1x2" steel bar? i bought some 1x1" bar and went to start drilling a 5/8 hole and realized its not going to work lol..

are the cuts 2x1" then 1x1" then 0.5x1"??

It's one single piece from 1" thick sheet. It is cut on a plasma jig and then cleaned up. It's incredible strong that way.
