Front diff fill plug

I can easily spot the front diff drain plug but where is the fill plug? Anyone have pics?

Thanks but is it possible my 99 Ltd has a different location for the fill plug? It just doesn't look like that. I do see a much smaller hex plug when I'm looking to the front of the vehicle. Looks like it'd be very hard to get to but could that be it?

Can you throw a pic up for us? Pretty sure all third gens have the same 7.5" IFS diff.

I'll try to upload a pic. It'll be from underneath at an angle. The drain plug is obvious so use it as a point of reference.

I googled a bit to find similar - this pic is from the other side but this is a Taco diff that looks similar to yours. (learn something new every day)

Thanks, yes that's more like the setup I'm seeing on mine. What yr Taco is that? The main difference between mine and that is that I do not see any easy way to get ratchet up to that fill plug. There's a bunch of stuff in the way. Has anyone done their front diff on a 99 Ltd? How'd you do it? And what size hex bolt is that? Mine fill plug is a lot smaller than the drain plug.

Strange that my 97 LTD is so much different.

Thanks. If the hex I'm seeing is the fill plug, it's definitely not a 10mm. I guess the mystery is not quite totally solved.

If I remember correctly the hex size is not the same on all 4runners. With a hex fitting and ratchet it's very easy to do. Bit of a tight fit but it will definitely fit in there. I've even done it with a very big allen wrench.

Thanks for the help everyone. I got an online parts diagram and figured it out. It had me stumped there for a bit because my diff was not looking like anything I found in the DIY threads.
