2001 Rwd Sport Model New to me just rebuilt the engine over the Winter. Now chasing down the little things one of them being a noise that sounded like it was coming from the left front tire. The sound kind of sounded like a belt squeal or bearing noise. It only lasted a second and would stop making it difficult to find. I pulled the tire checked the bearing and the backing plate nothing. I spoke to my friend who is a Master Tech for Toyota he said to check the Roof Rack. That was it left front was 1 turn loose hand tighten now no more noise. I spent 1/2 day looking for this noise , just thought I pass it along.:thumb:
