Front End Lift -- Where exactly is Amount of Lift being measured?

When referring to the amount of lift attained with a suspension mod, whether it is 1", 1.5", 2", or whatever, ...In the case of front end lift, is that measured from the ground to the highest point of the front wheel well? If not, where is it measured?

msot people measure teh fender height. I think the manufacturers use the front bumper height.

Yes, that's where most measure from. I also measure from center of hub to the wheel well, this measurement isn't affected by tire size so should be "better" when comparing.
