Front Lic. Plate

In my neck of the woods I need to run a front plate. Have any of you mounted it any trick ways to avoid drilling the factory bracket into the front center bumper area.

Thank you in advance!

I used two of these brackets from the hardware store and drilled the underside of the bumper cover.

Attach the bracket to the bottom holes of the plate with a short bolt and nut, mark the position of the holes on the underside of the bumper and drill the holes. Use a wood screw to attach the brackets to the bumper. Height of the plates can be adjusted somewhat by having the tabs on the bracket point either up or down. Pointing down positions the plate about where it would be if you drilled the dimples in the bumper.
