BTW, I told Flo4Run that Burtman can have Cornfed make whatever size he desires, including a 1.5" lift kit. No problem.

Okay I sent an email to the "contact us" addres @ the burtman website. I guess I'll find out during the work week.

Do yourself a favor and do a search for the thread with pictures of the last guy who purchased a 1.5" lift from me. He posted pics of his 4Runner after he installed the spacers. After seeing the pics, you might decide to go with a 1.25" lift instead, unless you are absolutely 100% sure that you want the front wheel wells to be completely even with the rears.

Either way, search the forum for pictures before you order the spacers.

I like those wheels and thing they have the same offset and back space as the FJ wheels , look good . I take it you did not like the FJ wheels ?? I like them to and wanted to get a set . I have Galactic Gray and wondered how that color rim would look on it ?

Anyway I have a 1" leveling kit (cornfed) that I have not installed yet , I also have really grown to like the 2/1 cornfed. I do NOT want it level because of the lines of the truck and I do pull a trailer so I like a 1" nose drop that the 2 cornfed lifts I mentioned above have or atleast was told there is still a 1" difference.

Here is a picture of them on my 05 V8 SE. Mine are 07 "hyper-silver" from a Sequoia, not "graphite grey". I wish I was able to get those- might look even better! I'll try to snap a few tomorrow when the sun is not so bright...

Don't listen to Josh. As usual, he doesn't know what he's talking about. Not only do 1.5" front lifts exist, but they've been sold to members of this forum. Just search posts by Even Steven and you'll find pictures of a member's 4Runner with his 1.5" front lift installed.

Don't get angry because you were wrong. You said that they don't exist and you're obviously wrong. Non-reputable? Everyone who ordered spacers got them right away. Nobody has ever returned a spacer kit or even asked to return a kit.

BTW, the reason I got banned is because I argued with Thai and it turned out he was proven wrong. The same thing would happen to anyone who argues with Thai. It's his MO, didn't you know that?

That's because you're wrong so often..and it is so easy to point that out. Don't tell someone that something doesn't exist when he has more than one option to actually get it the item that you're claiming doesn't exist. If you really wanted to help the guy out, you could have told him that Burtman can order any size spacers he desires. But instead you just give him a story how it is impossible to get a 1.5" and he should just go with a 2" instead. Good job.

Actually, I was the first person who mentioned that...you're wrong again. Flo4 emailed me to ask me if I could sell him a set of 1.5" and I told him that I don't have any more available, but Burtman could get special order them for him. LOL...Josh is wrong again. :bash:

Relax Falls... I'm just giving Josh a hard time because he deserves it! No big deal..you're right to say that nobody is 100% right all of the time.

I wish I had more 1.5" kits to sell, but since I don't, Burtman should be able to get them. I know for a fact that he's sold several of the 1.25" kits, which is by far my biggest seller. The 1" kit is great, but that extra 1/4" seems to be pretty popular with 4Runner guys.

The offset is the same as the FJ wheels, so it should look just as good.

Hey tom I think my wheels are hyper silver as well. People just refer to them in different ways hpyer silver / graphite grey / gun metal...whatever you call them they are all the same. there are only two versions.

Then I am sorry that I didn't realize they can be custom ordered. I was merely basing my post off of not being able to find any sellers who sell these sizes standard, and didn't consider contacting them about special orders. Just take it easy next time, all you need to do is point it out. I will usually research the topic before I post on it, so it may be a simple case of over-looking some details. You don't need to pretend that I am incompetent.

Okay so I'm looking to get a leveling spacer lift up front. I've seen the 1" level lift and it still doesn't look level. I figure I would get a 1.5" (if that even exists) or a 2" lift. Any suggestions or pictures. would 2" make it nose high???
Brand??? place to buy???

I've seen a 2" front 1" rear kit on burtman however I only want to lift the front.

Any help, suggestions, pictures, links to other threads would help a lot. Thanks in Avance.

I too wanted to level out my 4runner... so i got the 3 inch toytec in the front... and now it sits .5" HIGHER in the front... i like the way it looks but i will level it out when i get the extra money...

i talked to jason from burtmann and he told me that he could make a .5" spacer to level it out for me... My 4runner is in the shop right now getting the silver on the bumper painted black will post new pics when i get it back!!!

alignment??

Okay so I got the 1.5" cornfed front spacers from burtman. Spent part of last Saturday installing them with a friend. The install wasn't as easy as planned, we ended up having to remove the lower control arms. Anyways on Sunday I took it to a shop to get an alignment. drove it home, it was nice and straight. When I got home I noticed the wheels were very close to the front of the wheel wells. That can't be right. I checked and when I turn the tires are very close to rubbing, and i'm sure it rubbed a little because there was a little mark on the well. I don't know if that is normal or not. Before the lift I never had any problem at all. I'm running 267/70R17's
How can it be that before the lift there was no rubbing at all and the tires where nowhere near the wheel wells. Now after the lift and alignment it seems like the wheels have moved forward. Again is this normal. Any Help.

I took it back to the shop today and told them my issue. They showed me the report and said it was up to spec. He said he would do it again for me just to be sure. The second report shows it up to spec again. I take the reports to the toyota dealership and they say the report is up to spec.
Now i'm confused how can it be up to spec when it is obvious the wheels are not centered on the wheel well.
How can it be that i am very close to rubbing after a lift. shouldn't a lift help?

Sorry for the long rant. i'm so pissed.
Toyota dealer said they wouldn't do alignment for me because of the custom suspension (spacer) and the oversized tires (265/70 vs 265/65)

What gives??

I live in so cal (San fernando valley) if anyone has a shop to recommend for me that would be awesome.

I was so excited about the lift but now i'm a little let down.

thanks for the compliment, as far as your issue goes, it is kinda weird that you lost clearance instead of gaining it... but really i would not be the one to answer your question because i too had trouble with the install and decided to let the pros handle it and they did in 1 HOUR w/ alignment...

for time not wasted on my part
