Front Marker light bulb replacement

I tried searching, but maybe I'm not getting the name right?

My '98 Limited just had it's first Front Corner light go out, since I've owned it.

I lift the hood and only see one screw holding it tight to the headlight frame.

How does one take out the corner marker light assembly, so I can replace the bulb?

Remove the screw and position yourself along the side of the marker light facing the same direction as your truck forward. Using the palm of your hand, hit the marker at an angle so that it slides forward. Don't hit it too hard so you don't rip the harness. I can try to make a video.

There's a pin you are popping free from a plastic grommet at the lower front corner of the assembly, nearest the headlight. See it sticking out at the upper right hand corner of the picture? You can see the bracket for the screw at the left top, this is the left lens laying sideways.

PS. You only have one socket there in the hole shown. Twist to release.

THANKS for the pic and tips guys! It was as I expected, but it was REALLY jammed in there. I didn't want to use too much force and break something. I used a regular screwdriver to pry and pop it loose. Maybe it had never been taken out before...??

This is what the Sylvania bulb website shows:

This bulb location uses LED lighting and is not a simple replacement part. There is a printed circuit board unit that can normally be found at the dealer.

Is there a bulb number?

Thanks for posting the video. I just replaced my side marker lights (2825 bulbs) and it only took a few minutes. Just be careful not to scratch your paint when you pry out the lens cartridge. Mine came out easily.

I didn't even know that my side marker lights were out. I was probably driving around for a few months with both sides out. I'm probably lucky I didn't get a ticket.
