Front Marker Light Bulbs

Anyone tried to replace the bulbs for the little lights in the upper corner of the head light housing?

If it's as difficult as replacing the glove box light, think I'll pass...:mmph:

I was able to get both of these out - not easy, but doable (I moved the battery on the driver's side to gain access). I replaced the bulbs with these:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B018GYMOZ0/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

The difference in light output is quite surprising... for $12.99 you should consider doing this. It took me less than 30 minutes, start to finish.
I like those...

But, if it took you 30 min, would have to multiply by three times, is my guess...LOL

Those bulbs on Amazon say for interior use only, it's possible they could encounter a bit of moisture in that application.

I've gone this long w/o a light so I think I can make it a few more years! Not a real issue since the console is my domain and the glove box is my wife's. LOL

I thought my glovebox bulb was burned out for the longest time until I open it with the truck running, 95% of the time when I need to open the glovebox is when the truck is parked, I dont' understand why it's designed that way, it should come on anytime you open it IMHO!!!

I have big hands and did not find replacing the marker lights to be too hard and I did not touch the battery. You just stand at the side of the vehicle facing the back and put your hand behind you to twist it off. Took me about 2 minutes to change both.

I have more thumbs than most people.
